They fired up the grills at the Tampa Convention Center Friday night to welcome the South Carolina Gamecocks and Iowa Hawkeyes to town for the Outback Bowl. More than 5,500 pounds of Outback Steakhouse food was devoured, including 750 pounds of steak, 750 pounds of chicken, 900 pounds of ribs, 700 pounds of bleu cheese wedge salad, and 950 pounds of Bloomin Onions.
